The 5 Best Wineries In Rhode Island
Although small in size compared to other states, Rhode Island shows its big, beautiful personality when it comes to quality wines.
Located near the Atlantic Ocean, Rhode Island has one of the most moderate climates in the Northeast. The state’s coastal location and mild, cooler climate results in wonderfully balanced red, white, rose and dessert wines that display excellent acidity. Not to mention the breathtaking views from its wineries, too!
Some of the most popular grape varieties grown include Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Fruit wines are also worth giving a whirl…(or should we say swirl), as Rhode Island grows incredibly tasty apples, blueberries, and blackberries (among many others)..
The only thing that could elevate your wine tasting experience in this striking little gem is to pair the wines with some iconic, fresh Rhode Island seafood. Cheers to the top wineries in Rhode Island!
